Drive to Fayoum Oasis on the highway passing by Lake Qaroon and further south to Wadi El Rayan where you will start a breath-taking offroad drive to Wadi El Hitan. Take time to explore the marine fossils and the Petrified Whales Skeletons in the area.

After the visit continue driving through the desert to the Waterfalls of El Rayan Lakes. At lunchtime take a rest in the Bedouin lodge near the lake.

After lunch drive back to Cairo taking a different route and pass by the Pyramid of Meidoum (King Snefro, 4th Dynasty, Old Kingdom). The pyramid lies at the fringes of the desert plateau looking at the green fields and the Mariotteya canal.

After a short visit from outside continue driving to Cairo where arrival is foreseen early evening.
