This a 10 days desert expedition to see Egypt's western desert oases, goes south in the desert, it includes many oases, historical sites, ancient egyptian temples, and much more!

Cairo / Wadi Rayan.
VQasr El Sagha (middle kingdom temple), Dimah (Soknopaiou Nessos) a Greco-Roman fort, Wadi El Rayan Natural Protected Zone, Wadi El Hitan (the valley of the whales skeletons). Dinner and overnight camp.

Wadi El Rayan / Bahareya Oasis.
The lonely acacia tree, the tomb of Benintue, the museum of the golden mummies. Dinner and overnight camp.

Bahareya / El Djarrah Cave.
El Djarrah Natural Cave (discovered by Gerhard Rolfs on Dec. 24, 1873 then nobody has been there till it was rediscovered by Carlo Bergman on Oct.10th, 1989 following the same caravan road that was used by Rolfs. Don't forget to write your name in the visitor's guestbook, you will see it hanging on the entrance of the cave. Dinner and overnight camp.

El Djarrah Cave / White Desert.
The White Desert with its chalk white formations of limestone taking funny shapes such as giant mushrooms or animals like camels and so on. Dinner and overnight camp.

White Desert / Ain Dallah Cave / Farafra Oasis.
Ain Dallah Natural Cave and see the wall painting of the prehistory man who dwElled the area million years ago. Visit the hot Spring and Museum of the Oasis local art. Dinner and overnight will be in a hotEl in Farafra.

Farafra Oasis / El Qasr / Dahkla Oasis A day of adventurous driving across the sand dunes from Farafra to El Qasr village in Dakhla oasis. A visit to the old medieval city (Qasr El Dakhla) will enhance the end of this day.

Dakhla Oasis / Umm El Dabadib Deir El Hagar (Roman Temple) - Mut - Balat - the Mastaba of Khentica (old kingdom governor of the Oasis) - Qasr El Labikha and Umm El Dabadib (two Roman fortresses lying on the ancient road named Darb El Arbaeen, 'road of the 40s').
Dinner and overnight camping at Umm El Dabadib.

Umm El Dabadib / Kharga Oasis Visit Hibis Temple - Bagawat - the Museum of the New Valley - the Date Palm Fabric and the local Carpets Fabric (Kelim). Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Kharga Oasis.

Kharga Oasis / Baris Oasis / Luxor Qasr El Guweita - Qasr El Zayan and the Temple of Dush. After the visits drive to Luxor where arrival is foreseen by late afternoon.

After the visit to the city of Luxor and its famous temples, we return back to Cairo.
