- DAY
1:
Departure to Sinai, via the Suez Canal tunnel, stopping at Oyun
Musa (Moses Springs). Lunch en route and continue to Serabit El
Khadim, an ancient mining area. Climb Gebel Serabit to visit the
temple of Hathor, the goddess of love and joy. Later proceed to
St Catherine for dinner and overnight at hotel.
- DAY
2: Very early morning climb
of Mt. Moses (2285 m) to watch the unique sunrise. Breakfast. Visit
the Monastery of St.Catherine (if open for visits), after the visit,
drive to Ain Hudra for camping.
- DAY
3:
After breakfast drive to the colored Canyon. Start hiking down to
the canyon for one hour and after that drive to Nuweibaa for a tasty
fish lunch by the beach, after lunch drive back to Cairo where arrival
is forseen by sunset time.
